Real (Ray) is  the Eastern Canadian account manager for Social Media, Digital Concepts and Strategic Solutions for LinkedIn.

In his current role at LinkedIn, he works with businesses in various industries to help create targeted advertisiing campaigns which help drive the social ecosystem on LinkedIn.

Ray developed a reputation as a force to be reckoned with thanks to his solid experience in sales, marketing, branding, and social media. Real is a graduate of the College – The Old Montreal, with a BA in Art Communication and Leadership.

Too Many Brands are Boring. Real wants to change that. As Director of Accounts and strategic relations with the marketing solutions team, Real works with brands to help tell their stories.

Today, social media has disrupted the whole universe of traditional marketing. The model of interruption marketing is dead. If you want to attract the attention of today’s consumer, you better have something interesting to say and better yet, in an interesting way.

His career in online advertising began with Yahoo! Canada where he managed the new media sales business, after which Ray went on to own his own affiliate network. Well versed in all things digital and especially brand marketing and traffic generation, Ray has successfully weaved his way through every acquisition model out there.

This message he shares whereby stories need to be interesting is one he shares with anyone who will listen, and we’re fortunate he’s agreed to come share that message with us.
